Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Machine Operator to join our dynamic Team TMB. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machines, ensuring the production of high-quality parts and components with precision and efficiency. The CNC Machine Operator will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machinery, maintaining equipment, and ensuring that safety and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CNC Machine Setup & Operation: Set up and operate CNC machines (e.g., lathes, mills, routers) to fabricate parts as per drawings and specifications.
  • Programming: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to program CNC machines accurately.
  • Tool & Equipment Management: Select, install, and change tools based on the job requirements; monitor machine performance and adjust settings for optimal performance.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, callipers, and height gauges.
  • Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues with machines to ensure optimal functioning and minimal downtime.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and always maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the production team to improve processes, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and quality checks.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator, preferably with at least 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or machining environment.
  • Proficient in CNC programming (G-code, M-code) and operating a variety of CNC machines.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD software.
  • In-depth knowledge of precision measurement tools and quality control processes.
  • Solid understanding of CNC machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and strong work ethic.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training in CNC machining is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with multi-axis CNC machines.
  • Knowledge of CNC programming using Heidenhain controls.
  • Experience with machine shop safety procedures and environmental standards.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with regular shifts (may include overtime or weekend work depending on production needs).
